Unfortunately our local area has limited resources for professional portrait photographers. But there are an abundance of amateurs, part time and transient photographers who are not trained or experienced in fine portraiture who embellish their credentials, taking advantage of out-of-state families and portray to be professional, they should have a minimum of 5 years experience with medium format equipment in beach portraits, the proper Florida Business licenses and required photography permits. Please be sure to choose a photographer with and actual photo studio, not one with a P.O. Box, a cell phone as a primary number or a home office, ask to see their studio, samples of their work and ask for references or you may be disappointed with expensive snapshots instead of cherished memories. |
